ARS Solar has supplied solar equipment from Chinese factories since 2009. The work in China is done by a small team of people we've known for years: they audit factories, follow production, inspect every order, and book freight.
We know Africa best: most of our experience is with installers, distributors, and project developers there. The same equipment serves anyone who needs it to hold up in heat and dust, on weak grids or no grid at all.

Founded in Hong Kong, with an operations office in Shanghai. First buyers in Europe, the US, and West Africa.

ARS-branded lines for LED lighting, solar lanterns, and solar water heaters, and a website in English and French.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a factory and inspection team in China, supplying installers, distributors, and project developers in Africa and beyond.
You buy from us, not through us
Some companies find you a factory, take a commission, and step away. We work differently. We agree the specification and the price with you, we place the order with the factory, and we answer for the goods until they reach your port. Most trouble in buying from China happens between steps: the supplier who quoted isn't the one who builds, a spec changes quietly mid-production, the goods that ship aren't the ones that were checked. Because every step below is our job, nothing gets lost in a handoff, and you always know who to call.
